Great host quick with communication and easy car access

Clean hybrid car and nice owner. Was disappointed, tho, to have to pick up the car in downtown Portland rather than at the airport since I wound up paying $44 for an Uber to get there which kind of defeated the purpose of getting a lower rental rate than with a traditional car rental service.

The car is located under the 405 at 1550 NW Kearney, which is stated on the listing. I don't offer airport pickup or delivery — that's part of why the rate is lower than the counter agencies.
For anyone flying in: the MAX Red Line runs PDX to downtown for $2.80, then it's about a mile on foot (or a shorter Uber) from there.
Glad the car worked out otherwise.
Thank you for taking good care of the car!
This 2017 Chevrolet Volt was mostly as advertised, with some minor differences, such as rattling from the trunk area/back window. Pickup and coordination worked well with clear instructions. The car was advertised to have had “free miles” with the electric feature as a perk, but was picked up with zero charge registered. Drop-off instructions had some discrepancies, where it had been claimed that there was a preferred location to fill-up listed, where there had not been after further review. As a result, an additional charge was made for a “convenience fee”, which felt like we were being nickel-and-dimed when clearer instructions could’ve eliminated the problem.

Every car goes out with a full tank of gas and I remind guests to refuel before returning. There's a station directly across the street at Radio Cab.
When a car comes back short, I have to refuel it and Turo applies a $10 convenience fee.
This keeps it fair on both ends: the guest who used the gas covers it, and the next guest never inherits a partial tank.
On the battery: this is a plug-in hybrid. There's no charging at the lot, so any charge is a bonus and none is expected back.
Amazing experience all around. Everything was smooth.
