To all future renters, please contact hosts directly prior to vehicle pick up. The app only sends notifications 50% of the time.
This particular trip was cancelled by the guest who showed up 2 and a half hours late who did not realize the car was waiting on location due to technical issues with app.
Instead of taking responsibility, Turo chose to penalize the host by canceling trip as host no show. Turo’s business model makes bad hosts look good and good hosts look bad.

Host did not cancel trip. Guest showed up under the influence of narcotic drugs and fell asleep behind the wheel of the car during check-in.
Turo chose to treat this as a host cancellation instead of siding with the host despite evidence being provided.
