Honestly, was not what I expected. The listing photos did not resemble what the car look like. I picked the car up with a very little gas. It did it a job for the trip but definitely when I book again especially paying what we paid.

I’ve definitely had better rental experiences.

When I arrived to pick up the car, the keys weren’t where they were supposed to be, and the car was unlocked with no owner around. I tried calling multiple times but couldn’t get an answer. I ended up waiting around 30–45 minutes before finally getting help after contacting Turo customer service.

The condition of the car was also disappointing. It was dirty inside and out, with trash left behind from the previous renter. I was told the last renter returned it late, so there wasn’t enough time to clean it properly.

Things only got worse once I started driving. Right away, warning lights for the brakes and gas came on, and the car was shaking badly. The owner eventually arranged for a mechanic to meet me and replace the brakes. On top of that, the gas tank was so low that I had to stop for gas almost immediately.

A few days later, the check engine light came on as well. It felt like there was always a new issue coming up, and overall the rental wasnt worth the price.

The listing photos also seem outdated. The paint is peeling, parts of the car are rusty, and the vehicle doesn’t look nearly as good as advertised.

The owner was polite and seemed to do her best, but overall I wouldn’t rent this car again. I’d recommend renters proceed with caution

Everything was amazing, the ease of picking up the vehicle as well as returning the vehicle. I will definitely recommend renting from Tangela. Communication was great.
