I am leaving this review as constructive feedback. I rented the car because it was close to my home, but it smells like marijuana. When I picked it up, the oil level was low, and there is also a fault in the braking system. It cannot be used.

I was disappointed with this rental experience. At pickup, the host acknowledged there was a marijuana odor in the vehicle, but the smell was much stronger than expected and persisted throughout the entire trip. The odor was severe enough that it caused headaches and nausea for members of my family.
The vehicle also had a check engine light and other maintenance warning lights illuminated during the rental, which raised concerns about its condition.
I contacted the host on Sunday to report these issues and was told I would receive a call on Monday, but I never received any follow-up. The vehicle was returned at the end of the trip with no attempt to address the concerns and no compensation offered for the inconvenience.
I try to be fair in my reviews, but based on the condition of the vehicle and the lack of communication after the issues were reported, I cannot recommend this rental.

The compensation provided was the cost of the rental day, which was already significantly below the rate typically charged for a BMW of this model. In fact, that is exactly why the vehicle was listed at a discounted price.
Regarding the smoking issue, we are very sorry about the situation as well. Unfortunately, despite the no-smoking policy being clearly stated, not everyone respects that rule.
