Needs maintenance. Car drove pretty good but I wish I knew the audio system didn’t work. Although the car sounds cool, driving for a few hours in silence wasn’t fun lol. No AM/FM , satellite, Bluetooth, AppleCarPlay nothing had sound. Tried soft and hard resetting the radio system and it did not work even with the BMW app installed on my phone; must be a fuse or amplifier issue. USB port didn’t work either so I couldn’t charge my phone. Thought it might be the usb cable, stopped and bought a brand new one, still didn’t work. Car feels great in terms of handling, grip, and suspension; sticks to the road very nicely. Definitely needs a brake job soon they’re sounding squeaky when coming to a complete stop and it’s a pretty loud squeak; The kind of squeak that turns heads walking by lol. The car also might be some re-tuning. I’ve driven a quite a few M series BMWs before (old and new), and the response time on the throttle and the shifting felt a little off. Overall it still drove nice and handled well. Car also wasn’t as clean as the pictures show inside and out. Dents and dings and scratches all around not visible in the display pictures which always make me nervous when renting a vehicle like this because this is a pretty expensive car to have clear visible damage that’s not disclosed beforehand or shown in the display pictures. Don’t think the car was washed before my the start of my trip either. Considering what is the price per day to rent this vehicle, I had higher expectations to be honest. Drop off was about 25 minutes late as well, which set me a little behind on my night.

Jiyeon is another reason why I continue to use Turo. Exceptional host overall. From booking to drop-off, you cant beat this level of customer experience. Not to mention the vehicle itself was the focal point of the experience.
