I would not rent from this host again. Try Monza, 777 or Peacock. They have same cars and not the experience of this seller. We now have to go to legal to get out $ back
The vehicle itself was as described, however the rental experience was disappointing.
The host delivered the vehicle later than expected, resulting in lost time during our trip. During the return process, the host explicitly instructed me through Turo messages to return the vehicle to an alternate Newport Beach location rather than the original location.
After following those instructions and returning the vehicle to the location provided, the host pursued a substantial late-return charge based on technicalities regarding checkout timing and return-location procedures despite having directed the alternate return arrangement himself.
Communication became focused on fees and policy citations rather than resolving the situation reasonably. While other guests may have different experiences, I found the host’s approach inflexible and unnecessarily adversarial.
