The car did not match the listing photos. The interior was very dirty, and the exterior was rough and faded. The rear passenger-side door handle was missing entirely, which was especially difficult since we had our child in the back seat on that side.

The host was out of town and not available in person. He told us the car would be unlocked with the key inside, but that wasn't the case, and he failed to provide correct pickup instructions. It took him about 45 minutes past the scheduled pickup time to respond while we waited, trying to find out where the keys actually were. When I finally reached him, he insisted he'd already sent the pickup code, and was dismissive when I asked him to resend it.

On top of this, I later found that the host had installed a tracking device in the car, something he explicitly told me, before pickup, that he had not done. This raised serious concerns about honesty and privacy.

Overall, this was a frustrating and concerning experience from pickup onward, and the vehicle's condition and the host's conduct did not match what was advertised or expected. I would not rent from this host again.
