The worst experience we’ve had with Turo. There was no registration or insurance in the glove box. The car smelled like smoke. After we canceled the trip the owner said there was a some sort of registration paper work that could work behind the passenger seat. However, when we initially messaged him he said if for some reason we were pulled over to just contact him. We were not set up for success and Turo refused to make an exception to help us find another car. I feel like we’ve been penalized for Turo’s lack of screening those who rent their car. My child, pregnant wife, and I were stuck at the airport while Turo remained unhelpful. They didn’t document the first phone call which made the second one a real runaround. You’re better off renting with a rental company. Don’t waste your time with Turo.
