Car was very dirty at pick up but host was understanding and agreed to
pay for car wash which was much appreciated. All in all had a great trip in a little car that drives well and handles the road!

What is the idea of renting a car? That you will have safe , reliable transportation in exchange for $
My recent experience with this person was anything but that.
1.) car was not in the pickup location stated. It was actually on the other side of an entire highway. This added 30 minutes to pick up.
2.) safety. Car tire inflation light was on immediately. I get it if temps fluctuate, but the tire was at 15psi and the technician at the tire shop said that he would not let his family drive that kind of car. Insane that someone would rent this out as safe.
3.) No washer fluid, no wiper blade and missing gas cap. This was just insulting when debris accumulated on the windshield. Another pit stop and more out of pocket money.
4.) communication - the host would not answer the phone when the car could not be located, or trying to troubleshoot any of the above issues. He only reached out after there was no where to park the car(another 1hr) upon return waiting for a spot. I told him I would just park in a handicapped spot or on the side of the road. And when it concerned him, he called to tell me what to do .
This was a very poor host and I believe that lesser experienced drivers would have been in real danger or stranded.
URGE YOU NOT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME IR PUT YOU, YOUR FAMILY IR OTHERS AR RISK.

Safety is very important to me, and the tire and fluid issues should have been addressed before your trip — I take responsibility for improving inspections. I did respond through Turo messaging as issues arose, but I understand your frustration. This is not reflective of our usual standards, and we are tightening our processes moving forward. - Isireli
