Overall I had problems from the very beginning. I had originally rented a car that was unfortunately canceled on very short notice. I was informed (by Turo) that I would get something comparable or similar to what I had rented. Not even close. One of the selections they suggested was 30miles away for pickup. The final selection was the exact opposite of what I rented to begin. . I was out of time. Unfortunately I had to drive my work truck to pick up the other car. Now, the reason I rented a car for two reasons my car was in the garage and my work truck although old was not something I was driving to a wedding. So when I picked up the vehicle I parked my car on the street. Legally. Seeing how there was no signs and no prior mention of not being about to park on a street plus there were other cars parked on the street. I received a message from the owner that I had to move my truck or it would be towed due to some HOA rule. Which wasn't a real thing. I'm guessing they just found my truck unsightly and thinking I'm some poor dumb schmuck along with it. . Then wanted me to break from the wedding itinerary, use gas and rental mileage to come move my truck and somehow Uber or get a ride back to the car (even more money.) oh and the second vehicle ( 30 miles away) they recommended to substitute they made me pay the cancellation fee on. This whole Turo experience wasn't living up to the hype unfortunately. Definitely put the stress on me.
