Fraud Warning:
The host intentionally attempted to scam me by claiming I drove 7,000 miles during a 43-day trip. I say “intentionally” because she ignored all my messages after the trip and rejected my dispute. Fortunately, Turo investigated, deemed the odometer photo invalid, and refunded my money.
Also, the vehicle’s battery was extremely poor. I ended up spending more on charging costs than I would have on gas, which was both frustrating and costly.
I acknowledge that the pic used for the mileage reading was an error on my part, I’m glad that Turo was able to resolve it quickly. However, I’d like to clarify that there was no intent to deceive or defraud, just an honest mistake, I regret the misunderstanding. The message you sent me after the trip didn’t ask for a response so I did not give you one.
I take guest concerns, seriously and reviewed battery performance w Tesla, the vehicle’s range is within the expected limits for a 2020 M3.
