This was my first time using Turo. This car works and drives fine, but it was a last minute substitution from the car I originally selected. The owner also surprised my by dropping the car off 2 hours early from the selected time. The size was acceptable but as soon as my asthmatic spouse and children opened the door, they recognized that the car has previously been smoked in. There’s a plug in air freshener to cover the stale smoke smell, but it was significant enough that my family had to wear masks for our 4 hour drive. I also asked the host a question the first day about use of the EZ pass and never got a response. Thankfully I used my own pass and expect that I will not get a charge after.
This man rented the car for two recent trips; there was absolutely no smell of cigarette smoke. If you claim there was, why did you drive it for 600 miles over three days?
