I had a serious issue with the vehicle during the trip that affected both the driving experience and my feeling of safety.
The hosts were communicative and gave clear, detailed instructions for pickup and drop-off, and the car itself was clean when I received it. However, any time the car went over a dip in the road, or sometimes even when turning into or out of parking lots, it would suddenly show a warning to take over steering immediately. After that happened, several important features would become disabled, including automatic emergency braking, traction control, and FSD. It also completely changed the way the car accelerated and braked. Normally, the Tesla could be driven smoothly with one-pedal driving, but after the system faulted, the braking and acceleration felt very different, and I had to press the brake much harder than expected.
I also paid an additional $109 for FSD, but I was not able to fully use it for a full trip because it would keep disabling once the car had this issue. That was really disappointing, especially because the issue made the car feel less safe and changed how it drove for the rest of the ride.
The car was clean overall, but there was noticeable wear and tear from previous use, especially on the steering wheel, and there was also a loose panel near the driver-side seat belt.
The hosts were responsive and the pickup/drop-off process was easy, but the vehicle had a major driving/system issue that seriously affected the trip, especially after paying extra for FSD.

I believe the car quality could have been better or explained prior to renting that it has a lot of wear and tear from previous renters….what was pictured on the listing is different from what I received the car was parked in a garage when picked up so it was dark and I was not really able to see all the scratches and imperfections on the vehicle until out in the light. On the inside the driver side seatbelt has issues with retraction and the panel kept wanting to come off. Host did very well with instructions on how to get the car and did help me in finding it just the garage it’s in is a bit confusing still, and the garage- visibly is sketchy especially if your young and a woman and in a totally new place. Host did communicate well when I had issues with a flat, tolls, and charging. Only real issues with me was the quality of the vehicle.
