The vehicle itself was clean, reliable, and drove well throughout our trip.
Unfortunately, the pickup experience was frustrating. When we arrived at the airport, the vehicle wasn’t accessible because it was locked, so we had to wait for the host to arrive before we could begin our trip. I will say the host woke up in the middle of the night to come unlock it for us which we were grateful for.
Another concern was that both of our phones repeatedly alerted us that an unknown AirTag was traveling with us. We eventually located an AirTag in the vehicle. This wasn’t disclosed to us beforehand, so it was a bit unsettling to discover it through repeated tracking notifications.
To be clear, I completely understand wanting to keep track of your property, and I don’t hold that against the host. I just wanted to make them aware so future guests don’t have the same experience.
Overall, the car itself was great, but the delayed pickup and the undisclosed AirTag took away from what otherwise would have been a very positive rental experience.
