The hosts were friendly and communicated well, finding the car was also easy! They followed up throughout the trip to make sure I was content, which was very appreciated.
The car is a little beat up, but not dirty or unsafe. The soft top is old, and therefore not fully sealed against the windows. The aftermarket touchscreen climate control system is slow to respond.
But for cruising around Maui at island speeds, it was a perfectly fine ride.

The hosts are good. However, the ride was lacking. The convertible top, even though we did not use it because of the extreme weather this week, had significant gaps where water would come in and drip on the rear passengers. We use Turo and one of the worst cars to rent in terms of condition. Again, ths hosts were fine.
Convertible top leaks little in heavy rain yes. Its 2013. Good thing it only happened in this extreme storm and not in regular rain
No smoking allowed
