Car has a lot of cosmetic damage on the outside. Ran into some issues but the host responded quickly.

I would like to start with the vehicle was able to get us where we needed to go throughout the duration of our trip and I am thankful for that. The host was also helpful in letting us know where we would find the vehicle for pickup.
Now, I will say the host needs to thoroughly need to update the photos of this vehicle. The car in the original advertisement is now very dented and “dinged”. About 30 mins from receiving the vehicle, the host messaged and said it had been wrecked “last week”… at that point there was nothing we could do because we needed a vehicle. Upon looking at recent reviews (that I didn’t see prior because I rented the car several months ago) it appears this vehicle was wrecked in early April. There have been two other reviews since our trip, one of which stating the vehicle was wrecked. I just feel scammed that I was expecting one vehicle and it was not as advertised. I find it disappointing that the host waited until right before I was to receive the vehicle to let us know about the damage. The air conditioning also had a very odd whistling noise that was quite annoying. The host also texted and said we could only change the music volume on the vehicle using the steering wheel, not the dial. This car truly needs to be taken to the body shop and the mechanic shop for a thorough repair or just completely removed from this rental lineup. I hate leaving bad reviews but I am hoping someone else reads this honest review before renting so they are fully aware of the condition of this vehicle and not as surprised as we were upon renting this vehicle.
Hello, thank you for the review, unfortunately as you mentioned vehicle had a small parking lot accident, (some scratches and small dent) it wasn’t anything to put your Health or safety in risk that’s why I have reached out to you and ask if you prefer to continue your trip like this or we could cancel the trip, I didnt wait until last minute , actually it was 3 days prior to your trip. I was trying to accommodate you. I believe you are little bit upset because you have not filled up the gas.

The car was great pickup and drop off was easy!

The guy who dropped off the car was very nice and sent us a video where the car was exactly. He also informed me the car was hit lightly on the right side the night before, so I didn't walk into any surprises
