The 2018 Porsche Panamera was an excellent rental experience. The pickup process was smooth and easy, and the customer service was outstanding throughout. The car itself was clean, well-maintained, and drove perfectly. Overall, a very professional and hassle-free experience—I would definitely rent again.

I rented the car for my son’s 10th birthday because he loves Porsche. As soon as we opened the door the car smelled of marijuana and cigarette smoke. We told this to the worker and he gave us air freshener. We took it because we didn’t want to make a fuss. The entire ride home we all had a headache and I was severely carsick from the smell. I told this to Dustin Luo the guy who I think owns the cars and he simply told me that exchange upon taking the car is not possible. Not a single apology. He said open the windows for ventilation as if that is what I wanted to hear. We had to take the car that day upstate for my son’s birthday party and we did not have any time to exchange even if we had the choice which we didn’t. The air freshener didn’t help. We even left the window cracked open. It is winter and the car got so cold. Plus the smell returned when we closed the windows meaning the leather probably absorbed and was drenched in the smell. The owner’s irresponsible response practically ruined my day (although I tried my best to look happy for my son) and the smell of the car ruined every moment we spent in the car (which was not much at all since we avoided getting in as much as possible). Money spent and complete dissatisfaction. Isn’t it appropriate to apologize first in this situation? Still no apology and still shocked at his stern and short response of no exchange after taking the car. Very disappointed that my son had to see me carsick the whole day during his birthday. Unable to eat anything that day or enjoy the family dinner. I was unable to sit up straight in the back seat due to being severely carsick. Even when I got out of the car I was weak until the next day. Never knew a car and rudeness and irresponsibleness of the person renting it out could cause such a distress to multiple people. My family also did not deserve to see me in such a state. It’s not like we get together often.
We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience and frustration this situation caused. We did offer to switch the vehicle one day into the trip; however, the renter declined, which we completely understand since they were already far from the pickup location. We genuinely regret that this happened and wish we could have resolved it more smoothly. Exchanging the vehicle at pickup would have been the best way to prevent this experience, and we appreciate your understanding.
