If you’re reading this, run the other way. Resla is the definition of a company that does not care about its customers. All they want is your money, and once they have it, you’re on your own.
I rented a vehicle and paid over $1,000, only to deal with problems. I returned that car after more than two weeks, tried again with another vehicle, and that’s when things got even worse. The entertainment system didn’t work at all, so I reached out to support like any normal customer would.
Instead of fixing their defective vehicle, Resla accused ME of violating their policies — including claiming I smoked in the car. Let me be very clear: I do not smoke. I literally have asthma, and I offered them multiple times to provide medical paperwork proving that. They refused to even look at it, which tells you everything you need to know. They didn’t want proof — they wanted an excuse.
So here’s the sequence:
✔️ Their vehicle had defects
✔️ I reported the defects
✔️ They responded by accusing me of smoking — something I physically cannot do
✔️ They banned me from renting instead of addressing their own failures
And all of this happened on Thanksgiving, making it even clearer: Resla does not care about customers, honesty, or basic fairness.
Save yourself the headache, the disrespect, and the money. Stay far, FAR away from this company.
