Pickup is complimentary at my home residence and you may leave your vehicle here while renting the Slingshot. This is a great pickup point on your way to wineries, the Hill Country, Bandera, Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Medina Lake, etc.

The car can be returned with minor dirt and debris. Trash, dog hair, ash, tears/rips, etc will be billed as this car is a luxury sports car and all riders expect the best experience for this kind of machine. Do not worry about returning the car immaculately clean (aside from dirt and debris), it will be cleaned properly. We hand wash before every rental (weather permitting) and detail inside/out so when you drive off, you’re proud to be the temporary owner! We take pride in our machines so you can too. For us, it’s all about quality and professionalism. Please do not wash the car at all, it's included in the price. We take great pride in our machines, their paint jobs and the condition we rent them out in. Car washes and power washers can actually damage the vehicle's paint, interior and accessories. All of our Slingshots and exotics are carefully and meticulously washed by hand and dried with scratch resistant microfiber & chamois cloth materials and polished off with commercial-grade detail polishers. This is why your rental will be great and look great when you pick it up! Please ensure you remove all belongings from the vehicle as we rent it out almost back to back on other platforms and would not want your nice bottle of 1958 Chateau to find a new home. Smoking is allowed in the Slingshot, however not preferred/encouraged. Damage will occur if there are noticeable marks, damages, holes, butts, melted parts or ashes within the vehicle and billed at dealership costs to repair plus 20% fee for loss of rental income. For the sake, cost and comfort of future guests, we suggest to not smoke in the vehicle unless you just need to feed the addiction. We suggest to not rent this vehicle as a promotional prop, we have a different rate for that. We suggest not allowing anyone you do not trust to get near the vehicle. Any damages while you are in possession will be your responsibility at full retail price + 20% loss of revenue fee. We suggest not allowing anyone to touch, lean or sit in the vehicle. You my not know if they're carrying something sharp in their pocket and it may cut, scratch or puncture the seat or paint. Treat our baby like it's yours. This may not be a McLaren, but not many people spend $50k on a car with no A/C either. This should go without saying, but you know there is someone who caused us to bring this up...if you damage the car, it is not cheap to fix. If you get the car impounded, it is not cheap to bail it out. If the car comes back with any exterior, interior or performance issues (we drive it after every return)...we will send it to the dealership and bill their rate, plus bill you for any days out of commission if and where possible after insurance plus loss of daily rental income. This vehicle is monitored by GPS for speed, location and performance, although going 130mph in this machine is amazing...but we didn’t tell you that. ;)

• Does this drive the same as a regular car?

  Yes and No. With the center of gravity being where you're seated, tight turns going at a fast rate of speed will feel extremely weird the first minute, however, this is a sports car and after a few miles you'll feel confident and secure. Treat it like the machine it is and be respectful of the power it can generate. The first 5-10 miles take some getting used to on the way it rides, turns, speeds up and slows down. The suspension makes it feel like it's gliding or sliding, but in fact, you're just being cradled at high speeds. Don't be in a rush to get on the highway, give it as shot down a backroad or a place where the speed limit is higher so you can go slow and fast and get the feel of it and the way you feel in it. Everything else is the same, it has a steering wheel, seatbelts, tires, engine and more...so you'll drive it like a regular car, but since most everyone has been used to 4 wheels all their lives, going to 3 can feel awkward for a few minutes...but once you et the hang of it, having a 3-wheel vehicle is VERY stable, sturdy and handles amazing!

• This car looks really low.

  It is! It sits only inches off the ground. You cannot take this car off road, over high speed bumps, sand, off the curb, etc... Think of it this way...this car is as high off the ground as the thickness of your arm. If you go over anything thicker than your arm...be prepared for some damage. So please be careful! This car will bottom out on speed bumps. WATCH OUT FOR SPEED BUMPS! It does not feel good on your bottom.

• Do I need a helmet?

  Riders/Renters over the age of 21 and who have taken a motorcycle course do not need a helmet. Riders who have the state's minimum personal insurance coverage do not need to (check with your agent). Any rider under 21 years of age require a helmet per State of Texas Laws, but this is your responsibility. We will not check ages, ride at your own risk.

• Can I drive it like I stole it?

  Sure! Go for it! Have fun, squeeze the juice, take some corners, feel the growl and punch it from 0 to 60 in just seconds, or even 60 to 100 in a few more! It's a great performance machine, but push anything too much and it could break...so just be mindful of how hard you push it and how often. It's never fun to show off and then crack a header or break your belt...and it's expensive. Our vehicles are tracked with GPS, speed monitors, etc. We will know if you've done something out of the norm.

• Do you provide LEO, first responder, essential worker, active/veteran discounts?

  YES! We're happy to back our LEO, first responders, active, veteran and medical professionals in all they do! BEFORE BOOKING, message us BEFORE YOU BOOK and we'll tell you how to proceed so we can offer those discounts to you. We will need proof of employment/service for discount to apply. This is a discount provided by us and may be combined with other Turo discounts at time of rental. Once you book, we do not have the ability to edit or modify pricing.

• What should I NOT drive on?

  Wet roads! This car only has one rear wheel. When you hydroplane in a vehicle with 2 rear wheels, you can regain control. In one...pray. Here are other things not to drive on: Loose gravel (or anything loose) Rocky roads Roads with steep grades Roads under construction (lots of tar and loose gravel) Sand/Mud

• Can I rent this Sling for promotional purposes?

  Yes, based on your needs, we can offer a different rate if it is not being driven and only used for promotional purposes.

• Do you rent out in other cities?

  YES! We rent out in other cities! Right now, this Sling is available in Texas. We can deliver it or you can pick it up. Additional delivery fees apply outside the San Antonio/Austin area and for trips longer than a week, we can offer discounted or even free delivery depending on your location! We've rented all over Texas and outside the state as well! Just ask us!

• Can i rent this Sling and let someone else drive it?

  Please check Turo's policies for this. We do rent it directly if Turo is not able to rent to you or someone under the age of 21. We can also offer additional insurance coverage directly for special requests like this. This is usually the case for Prom, Homecoming, Parades, etc. We would not suggesting allowing anyone else to drive it unless you're insured or it's in writing. Turo will ask for additional drivers. Keep in mind breaking policies will make you liable 100% for any damage.

• Do you offer this Sling for corporate purposes?

  Yes! We are in the hospitality and event field already. We work with various businesses every day and can offer this as a perk for your employees, team building, events, and even have more Slingshots we can offer as well if you have a group or larger event. We can coordinate and provide all your transport needs for 1 or 100!

• Can I rent your Sling directly?

  YES! We use Turo as a marketing service to get our vehicles out to the public eye. We also offer direct rentals just as many major car rental companies. This is the majority of our rental business due to our relationships with local businesses. Please message us for details BEFORE booking.

• Can I drop-off or pick up a different location(s)?

  Yes, select the option in the Extras area and let us know your plans. We can either drop it off and you can bring it back to our home office, or vice versa. Please communicate with us on your wishes!

• Can I rent this Sling for a special event?

  Yes! We can either bring it to you, pick it up or drive it for your event needs, whether FIESTA, Rodeo, Prom, or other.

• Do you offer discounts to major employers?

  At this time, we only offer discounts to employees of our current book of business clients. Those employers have been given information to pass off to their employees. This is a discount provided by us and may be combined with other Turo discounts at time of rental.

• Can I park my car at this address while I rent it?

  Yes you can.
