Picked car at airport car had noises, drive like 5 miles “need coolant” light came on. Messaged host he said it was okay. Drove 25 miles that first night, next morning saw it had leaked quite a bit of fluid. Moved it a few feet and was leaking a lot of fluid. So parked it. So drove it about 30 miles total. Messaged host he picked it up many hours later. So paid a day and only drive it once approximately 30 miles according to its odometer. Host offered another car to finish the day trip but I declined, I was afraid it would have issues. I wish things would have worked differently from the start.

Pick up was great, drop off was great. The car has several cracks in the windshield, both front seats a ripped up and it drives really rough with lots of noises. It’s low to the ground so you have to go super slow coming out of any parking lot. Check engine light came on and I had to limp to hotel. It went off after Jesus instructed me what to do. Communications were good with him. It served its purpose.

Jesus was a wonderful, attentive Turo owner. Very helpful. Was worried about the low clearance on the car with many potholes in the area. Drove slow, but was concerned. Jesus was very accomodating.

The car had a hole in the intake when i received it, the owner was aware and made the situation easy and let me know that he was aware of the issue and it wasn’t a problem

Just to clarify: What you saw was the air intake duct/hose (leading into the filter box), not the main intake. We let you know it wasn’t the intake. The check engine light was a temporary code from hard acceleration and cleared quickly with no issues.
Appreciate your understanding and easy communication
The host was very good, liked the drop off location. Was a little skeptical about the vehicle had oil leak and stained my driveway and the garage at the vrbo I stayed at. Otherwise it was fine.
