I Cannot Recommend This Vehicle To Anyone. While I Was Driving The Back Right Tire Literally Exploded On Me. The SideWalls Burst From Both Directions. I Was On A Smooth Road. No Potholes, No Curbs, No Nails! After Notifying The Host He Did Not Advise Me To File A Damage Claim But Instead Just Told Me He Would Take It To A Tire Shop To Get Inspected. At That Time, They Would Have Told Them That I Am Not At Fault. I Know This Because I Just Took It To The Shop Myself. The Host Sneakily Contacted Turo In An Effort To Get Me To Pay For This 4 Year Old Tire That Exploded On Me. And When I Contacted Them They Continued On

If you read Turo’s terms and conditions you’ll read that it is the guest’s responsibility to pay for or reimburse the host for a flat tire. All of the tires on the car you rented are within Turo’s safety specifications which is a DOT code less than 6 years old and a tread depth of 4/32” or more. There was nothing wrong with the tire before your trip started. I contacted Turo last night after we conversed and they sent you an email regarding the situation.
