Overall, I had a positive experience, but the beginning of the rental was quite frustrating. When I first got into the car, it was still assigned to the owner as the driver, so I couldn’t drive it. The host was very responsive, but wasn’t able to identify the issue, and I eventually figured out on my own that I needed to change the assigned driver.
I also rented this specific Tesla because it was advertised as having Full Self-Driving. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get that feature working initially, and although the host again responded quickly, he wasn’t able to provide clear instructions. After spending a significant amount of time troubleshooting, I eventually found the correct settings myself.
That said, once everything was working, the car drove well. It was clean, and despite being seven years old, it was in good condition. I would rent it again, but I would encourage the owner to ensure the car is properly set up before each rental and to become more familiar with its features so future renters can get accurate guidance if they run into issues.
