Picked up the car and it reeked of smoke. This was not disclosed to me prior to pick up. It was frustrating since I had traveled far to pick up the car for a long term rental. Reached out to Stewart and he was willing to swap out the car with another Prius that he rents out. However, the other car was not available right away or for the entirety of my trip, since it was being rented at the time (understandable of course). I appreciated that he tried to make it right and had another car coming available. The car didn’t have any maintenance issues and had great gas mileage. If you don’t care about aesthetics and you’re just looking for a reliable car to get you from point A to B, it’s a decent option.

We appreciate the rental and apologize for the smoke smell. Turo has a policy against smoking but Turo denies claims that lack visual proof, as was the case in this instance. I think Turo should charge previous renters based on the complaints such as this.
