Overall, I had a good experience renting this vehicle. The car drove well, was great on gas, and the host was very accommodating when I needed to extend my rental for an additional two hours. The host responded quickly and was helpful throughout the rental.
The pickup location was a little difficult to find initially, but the host was able to provide directions and help me locate the vehicle. Pickup and drop-off were both fairly easy once I knew where the car was.
There were a few things that could have been better. I received frequent reminders and messages, including some around 2:00 a.m., which I found unnecessary and disruptive. Also, I was about 15 minutes late picking up the vehicle and was informed that I had a two-hour window to pick it up or the trip could be canceled without a refund. I had never encountered that communication with my previous Turo rentals, so I was surprised. The host did provide a screenshot of the policy, so I understand where the information came from; I just wish it had been communicated to me ahead of time.
Overall, the vehicle was reliable, fuel-efficient, and the host was responsive and accommodating when needed. With a little improvement in communication and the pickup instructions, this would have been an even better experience.
