As a first-time Turo guest, some of the check-in steps may have felt unfamiliar, but the driver’s license and selfie verification are required by Turo before vehicle access can be provided.
These steps help protect both guests and hosts and are part of Turo’s standard security process.

The customer service from the host was fair and communication was okay. However, the vehicle had some mechanical concerns during the trip, smoke from the engine area. This made me uncomfortable driving long distances, especially with my child in the car. I believe the vehicle should be checked and properly maintained before being rented out again.
No smoking allowed
Smoking in any Turo vehicle will result in a $150 fine

Unreasonably dirty vehicles may result in a $150 fine

Missing fuel may result in an additional fee
