I paid $350 for this rental, and the experience was awful from start to finish. After paying, I noticed the host charges $0.34 per mile after 600 miles, which added another $175 to my bill. I only used Turo because I lost my credit card and needed a car urgently for my daughter’s birthday, but this ended up costing me over $500 for just a few days.
The car was in terrible condition. It smelled bad, the brakes and rotors felt unsafe, and every stop made it feel like the car was falling apart. The exterior was scratched and beat up. The audio system barely worked — my iPod connection was weak and distorted, and even the radio sounded bad. The entire trip was uncomfortable.
Between the poor condition of the vehicle and the excessive mileage charges, this was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. I will never use Turo again. For what I paid, I could have rented a car at the airport for a full week with insurance.

The guest clearly lied about the maintenance. The guest compared the Turo prices with airport prices which I have no control of. He should have read Turo policies before booking the car instead blaming on host for the total price. However it's disappointing to get 1 star since he was offered to return the car on the first day.

Elite Rides was by far the best experience I’ve had using Turo. Everything was smooth, easy, and professional from start to finish. The car was great, communication was excellent, and the whole rental experience was completely hassle-free.
I’ll definitely be looking for Elite Rides’ vehicles first anytime I need another rental. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience on Turo!
