Fine ‘classic’ Turo rental - a small, functional, no-frills car with a working radio. The car is easy to drive (and to park) & gets you around the area. Chris was very responsive and easy to work with when I had to change my ending date. Downtown pickup and dropoff location, so be aware of that.

This car almost killed us, literally
The host had done his own brake work and forgot to tighten a screw
We noticed a brake warning light on the dash and took it to a mechanic partway along our trip
They said there was a wrench left on which was the only thing preventing us from losing all braking ability
The host did refund us for the trip and was a good communicator, which is the only reason we're giving this more than 1 star
The car itself seemed very rattly with hardly any acceleration power, difficult to take on highways
It is a very compact car with hardly any trunk space
We would be very cautious about renting this car
