We had trouble getting the back hatch door open a couple times. Also the license plate only has one screw. Doesn’t seem to be secure. We are late because we went to 2 Hawkins st in Sommerville by mistake. Very weird to have 2 address in different cities so close. Anyway ignore my earlier message. We were in the wrong area. The trip went great. Thank you.

I’ve used Turo before without issues, but this last experience was incredibly frustrating and stressful. After booking our flights, I reserved a car for what I thought was the correct arrival date. While traveling, I realized the booking somehow showed the day after we arrived, so I immediately submitted a request to change the booking to the correct date and time. It was approved very quickly, so I assumed everything was confirmed and ready to go.
When we landed in Boston, we ordered a ride to the pickup location since airport pickup wasn’t allowed by the host. After arriving, the car wasn’t there. It took quite a while to get in contact with the host, only to find out he never actually accepted the booking change on his end and had no idea we were expecting the car that day.
He then told us he’d pay for an Uber to where the car actually was located, but after getting there and searching a huge parking lot, the car still wasn’t there. At that point, the host stopped responding completely. We ended up calling Turo customer service, who finally got ahold of him, and apparently he offered a completely different vehicle instead.
The entire process took about an hour and a half after we arrived at the first pickup location, causing us to miss part of a family gathering we had planned around. The situation was extremely disorganized and disappointing, especially after a long day of travel. Customer service did try to help, but overall the experience left a very negative impression.
Once you reached out to us, we took less than 10 minutes to answer to your text.
Your trip was scheduled for a different date there was an issue on the app that allowed you to change the time without our confirmation and even though we were quick to deal with the issue paying for your Uber so you don’t have to spend on an additional ride for an approximately five minute trip to a different car that was already prepared. It took less than 30 minutes for you to be to be on your way out.
