Returned car due to driving and road handling issues with steering difficulty and front-end springiness, there appearance of the 'check engine' light which Host mentioned and said he had "taken care of it" at pick up and to "just ignore it" if it came on again" during my 6/1 through 7/1 rental period. Also, the car smelled very strongly of noxious chemical cleaning agents. When I checked the trunk, I found stains and sticky., odorous residue on the bottom and sides, under some very large mats.

Hi Sharon. We take safety seriously, but we must clarify that upon inspecting the car immediately after your trip, the steering, suspension, and mechanical systems were in perfect working order. There are no check engine lights or safety issues present; the vehicle is completely safe. We apologize if the deep-cleaning agents left a strong scent or if the trunk missed our standards. We will adjust our detailing products moving forward. We wish you the best.
