FIAT 500 2013

This was a great first experience with a Turo rental. We were 15 minutes late for pick up and a few hours early for drop off, but the host was very flexible with us. We drove the Fiat to Charleston, South Carolina, and it ran great, saved us a lot of money on gas and was easy to navigate in the historic city. We were able to park it pretty much anywhere. A few tips about this vehicle. I am 5 feet tall so I fit great but my husband is 6 foot five and it was a tight fit for him. Not a big deal running around town, but it was difficult for him to make the long trip. The car itself is really cute and fun to drive but it does need a little TLC. The headliner is falling down on the interior and on the outside of the car there are several dents and scratches. Not a big deal but something to be aware of. Also, there’s no GPS or anywhere to plug in your phone to charge it while you are driving. We solved this problem right away by buying a cigarette lighter adapter to charge our phone and a cell phone holder for the AC vent to display our GPS. Overall, this was an excellent experience. It was much more fun to rent this car and saved us money versus using a generic big box car rental company. We would definitely work with this owner again in the future.

This car is great on gas . It has an electrical issue that was addressed promptly. Information was sent in a timely manner. The passenger side mirror doesn’t adjust, and a few cosmetic flaws. For the price it was an easy and smooth trip . I forgot to fill up and they didn’t charge me.
