Pickup was very smooth and location was easy to find

Unfortunately, this trip involved multiple unresolved issues, including recurring tire problems that ultimately required roadside assistance and a temporary donut tire, which significantly impacted my travel plans. I also received a citation due to the vehicle being provided without a front license plate despite being a Maryland vehicle. I reported the concerns early in the trip and documented everything throughout the process.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had on Turo. At pickup, the car was not where I was told it would be. I virtually had to go on a scavenger hunt in sub-freezing temps and at 1:30 in the morning just to find the car. Then, parking was $35 because they’d left the car at the lot too long. However, they’d asked me to provide my flight info, well in advance of my flights, so they should have waited to drop off the vehicle until later. Then, the car turned out to have front bumper that was detaching on both sides, and had scrapes. It was so bad that the inside lining of the bumper was coming out and scraping against the wheel. I had to try to fix the bumper repeatedly throughout the trip. When I noticed it the first day of my 10-day trip, they assured me they knew about it and would take care of things after the trip. Then I realized the lining of the doors/windows was detached as well and kept having to be adjusted. And then I realized that one of the tires had absolutely no tread and was unsafe to be driving with for 10 days. However, what was worst was that after I dropped the vehicle off (and after very clear and related communication thoughout my trip) I was notified the host filed a damage report for the bumper, suggesting that it was worse and had been in a collision even though I’d sent pictures the very first day of the trip to prove otherwise. So, they’re assuring me that they already knew about it, and that things would be fine, was simply a lie and useless. Highly recommend you use ANY other host in Turo.
