On Turo, vehicle delivery is possible. Many vehicles are available for delivery to train stations or airports, and you can also filter the vehicles offering delivery to a specific address. Delivery includes pick-up and return of the vehicle. Depending on the situation, additional charges may apply.
What's the difference between OuiCar and Turo?
Turo, the world's largest car-sharing platform, has acquired OuiCar, the French pioneer in car sharing. OuiCar has become Turo France. The service remains fundamentally the same: hosts (called "owners" on OuiCar) offer their cars to guests (called "renters" on OuiCar) across France via the platform, which covers all trips (previously called "rentals"). But Turo France now offers a wider range of vehicles, greater flexibility of coverage, and has adopted Turo's standards of excellence in quality and customer service.
Where can I park my car for free in Nantes?
> The city of Nantes is divided into several zones. Each zone has its own color, with different parking rules. The red zone (Nantes hypercenter) and the yellow zone (pericenter) are almost always pay zones. In the Blue Zone, you can park free of charge in the vicinity of local commercial centers, on presentation of a parking disc placed behind the vehicle's windscreen. Access to available parking spaces is limited to 1h30, every day from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm, except Sundays and public holidays. Parking discs are available free of charge from retailers in the blue zones. On-street parking is free on Sundays and public holidays in all zones. In the yellow zone, every year from July 14 to August 15, all available parking spaces become free.
How do I extend my car rental?
To extend your rental, you must submit your request on Turo. Access your booked trip, select the “Details” tab and then “Modify trip”. You can do this at any time during your trip and up to 6 hours after the originally scheduled end time. More information in the Help Center.
What is my deductible when I rent a car on Turo?
On Turo, in the event of damage to your rental vehicle, there is no deductible, but there is a charge based on the protection plan you choose. The Premier Protection plan guarantees you no out-of-pocket expenses, while the Standard Protection plan subjects you to a maximum out-of-pocket expense of €250 in the event of damage, and a maximum out-of-pocket expense of €3,000 for the Limited Protection plan.
How do I cancel my car rental?
Guests can easily cancel their reservation via the website or mobile application. Cancellation takes effect immediately. In the case of a standard rental (excluding the no-cancellation option), the guest can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, except if the reservation is made less than 25 hours before the start of the trip, in which case the guest can cancel up to one hour before departure.
