The car was amazing. Very clean. Easy pick up and drop off. Would recommend to anyone needing to rent a car in Calgary

This car is super fuel-efficient and spotless. The whole experience was smooth, quick, and far better than dealing with a traditional rental agency. Will definitely rent from Joe again!
Great car and an amazing host! Everything was smooth and easy, and the car was clean and exactly as described. Would definitely book again 😊

The car was great overall, very comfortable, clean, and easy to drive. Everything worked perfectly and I really enjoyed the experience. However, it’s not very well suited for driving in winter conditions as the grip and traction were limited even at low speed. this may just be my personal impression, as I’m not used to driving low-profile cars since I am used to SUV. But Aside from that, it’s an excellent vehicle ! Pick up and drop off were very efficient and easy ! I would totally recommend !

The car is really good, clean and reliable, Joe was very polite and helpful, will definitely rent it again if needed.
Fantastic host - Fast responses and very accommodating. Car met all our needs and had no problems. Would rent again.
Very good car, Perfect for our trip :) Joe was flexible and very proactive, thanks again!
Great first Turo experience. Sukhjinder was fantastic from start to finish. Very communicative and friendly which made for an easy pick up and made returning the car a breeze. Very clean car as well. Will definitely be using Turo again for future rental needs. Thank you Sukhjinder, would highly recommend!
Great rental No issues Appreciate Joe being at home when I returned the car

Pickup near or at Airports
Driving in a new city isn’t always easy, especially if you’re unfamiliar with local roads or weather conditions. Before you hit the road in Airdrie, it’s worth taking a moment to review a few of these helpful tips. You'll feel more confident behind the wheel of your rental car and better prepared for local driving conditions.
Driving in Airdrie is straightforward for most of the year. However, road conditions can become more challenging in winter, particularly during periods of heavy snowfall or ice. Bad weather can sometimes lead to temporary closures on the Queen Elizabeth II Highway, so it’s important to stay updated through local traffic reports. Winter tires aren’t mandatory in Alberta, but they are strongly recommended, especially if you’re driving during colder months or heading outside the city.
Parking in Airdrie is easy to find and manage, especially compared to larger cities. That said, you should be aware of local parking rules, including the requirement to leave at least 3 metres between your vehicle and any driveway. On-street parking is often available throughout the town, and some downtown areas offer free parking after 6 pm or on Sundays. Always check posted signs to confirm time limits or restrictions before leaving your rental car.
No, there are no toll roads anywhere in Alberta, including in and around Airdrie. You can drive on all highways and bridges without needing to worry about toll booths or extra charges. This makes getting around the province simpler and helps keep travel costs down, whether you’re staying downtown or venturing out for a fun day outdoors.
Yes. Gas stations are easy to find in Airdrie, especially along main roads and near shopping areas. Refuelling a petrol or diesel car rental is rarely a concern. EV chargers are also becoming much more common, with charging points available at major retail locations and public car parks. Coverage can vary once you leave town, however. Some smaller communities across Alberta don’t yet have many charging options, so it’s best to plan your stops before setting off.
Renting a car in Airdrie is a good idea for most visitors. Public transport mainly consists of commuter buses running between Airdrie and Calgary. These services are limited if you want to explore beyond or travel on your own schedule. Renting your own car makes it much easier to get around town and run errands. It’s especially useful if you’re planning to explore other parts of Alberta.
