Off Old Shell Rd at Spring Hill College, this short but gorgeous path winds through a tunnel of historic oaks. Park across the street, then, after walking the half-mile avenue, jump back in your car and drive through this beautiful neighborhood by taking Wimbledon to Hillwood to Country Club.
For a longer drive, but one with scenic Gulf views, head toward Orange Beach and turn off the Foley Beach Express onto Alabama’s Coastal Connection. This road takes you past a bay, bayou, creek, and lake as it navigates the Gulf Coast. Stop along the way for amazing seafood.
