I rented Iliya’s Lotus Evora for few days and it was one of the best experiences on Turo. This car is not made for comfort (but it’s much better than Alfa 4C) and not even for straight speed. It’s made for waking up your neighbors and having a lot of fun on windy backroads in style. It handles amazingly and those revs on downshifts put a big smile on your face. Bright yellow Evora draws a lot of attention – with both its look and sound. Pick up and drop off was easy, the car was clean and in perfect condition.
This is the most excellent Car I have rented the host is amazing and I’ve renting $150,000 cars! This gets me where I’m goin no problem and Again the host is outstanding and very understanding! This is my 1st choice everytime I go thru Turo

Mike is flexible and accommodating. I had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and he stepped in and offered to pick me up at Bart. It allowed me to restore my reservations for the car. What a deal. Thank you for that gesture Mike. Also loved the car. Manual transmission in a Civic SI is a treat given the landscape of today’s cars which are more like appliances with too much technology. I just want a driver’s car that need me to shift the gears. LOL.

This was my first time renting from Turo. Michael was in touch right away, was flexible on pickup and drop off time. Unlike a rental company with add-one/fees for everything, it was simple. The car was awesome to drive. I highly recommend Michael. I read his reviews before renting (excellent), and I agree.
Best experience I have had on Turo, bar none. I have never driven a Lotus and have had my eye on Iliya's ad for a few weeks. The Evora exceeded my expectations, felt like a go kart compared to the typical BMW M and AMG sports cars. The aftermarket exhaust is intoxicating and suits the car perfectly. Iliya was responsive throughout the process and a true car enthusiast.

We co-drove a modified 2006 911 on this trip and I have to say the Evora did very very well in comparison. Particularly considering that this is a base non compressor car, the suspension, steering and overall road behavior was great, not too bouncy, just right. The auto was also much better then I expected. Overall, if you are curious how an Evora drives this one will give you a great impression, dont need an S or 400 - and the custom exhaust is a riot, awesome sound!! Finally, the car was in great condition, very clean - certainly worth the money!
Can't thank Mike enough for the opportunity and generosity. After driving the Civic Si for the holiday weekend and our discussions, definitely makes me want to get one in the future! If you're a car enthusiast who loves to drive manual, you can't go wrong with a 6-speed. Also, if you are looking for someone who is approachable and trustworthy, Mike is the guy to rent from (which I definitely will again in the future). Awesome car. Just like a normal car on the freeway except with a slightly loud exhaust. However once you get into the twisties it is amazing! Especially in sport mode. Very spirited and agile. I've never driven anything that was sooo much fun! Got 26mpg too! PS Iliya is a really nice easy going guy!

Mike was easy to deal with and this car is a blast to drive if you want to away from the boring automatic transmission. If you’re someone that the car needs you to shift, its the Civic SI.
