Thank you Aus for being a great host. You made it so easy for us from start to finish. The vehicle was pristine and we felt very safe and comfortable driving the vehicle that was in such a good condition. Our 3 day trip could not have been so memorable without the vehicle. Thank you once again and we look forward to using your service for our future trips.
The van was all I wanted for the day. Quality was excellent and presented well. Pick up was easy and well explained.
Van was great, could’ve perhaps been cleaner upon pickup but was more than okay for purpose. Pickup was relatively easy, could be simplified a bit or there could be more communication regarding pickup process and vehicle location.

Strathfield offers convenient pickup locations for rental vans, making it an ideal starting point for exploring New South Wales. The Strathfield train station area is a popular spot for guests to collect their vehicles, providing easy access to public transport connections. Another favoured location is near Strathfield Square, where hosts on Turo often arrange van rentals. These central pickup points benefit travellers by offering proximity to major roads, allowing quick access to Sydney's attractions and the wider NSW region. When driving a van in Strathfield's urban areas, it's crucial to be aware of height restrictions. Many underpasses and car parks have limited clearance, which can pose challenges for taller vehicles. Before setting out, familiarise yourself with your van's height and plan your route accordingly. Look out for signage indicating clearance heights and avoid low-clearance areas. In Strathfield, some shopping centres and multi-storey car parks may have restrictions, so it's wise to research parking options in advance. If you're unsure about a particular route, consider using main roads which are generally more accommodating for larger vehicles. Remember, navigating a van requires extra caution and awareness of your vehicle's dimensions to ensure a smooth journey through Strathfield's urban landscape.

Remember to check any vehicle restrictions and plan your journey to make the most of New South Wales' scenic wonders.
When selecting a van for family trips around Strathfield and beyond, comfort and space are key considerations. Larger models like the Toyota HiAce or Hyundai iMax are popular choices, offering ample seating and storage for extended journeys. These vans typically feature comfortable interiors, air conditioning, and sometimes even entertainment systems, ensuring a pleasant ride for all passengers. For smaller families, a compact van like the Volkswagen Caddy might suffice, balancing comfort with easier manoeuvrability in urban areas. When choosing your van hire, consider features such as sliding doors for easy access, adjustable seating configurations, and safety features like multiple airbags and stability control. The right van can transform your family's travel experience, providing a comfortable mobile base for exploring Strathfield and the surrounding New South Wales region.
When choosing a van for your Strathfield journey, several factors come into play. First, consider the size of your group and the amount of luggage you'll be carrying to ensure adequate space. The duration of your trip is also crucial — longer journeys may require more comfort features. Think about the terrain you'll encounter; while Strathfield is primarily urban, venturing into surrounding areas might necessitate a van with better suspension or higher ground clearance. Fuel efficiency is another important aspect, especially for longer trips around New South Wales. Don't forget to check the van's features, such as air conditioning, GPS navigation, and entertainment systems, which can greatly enhance your travel experience. Lastly, ensure you're comfortable with the van's dimensions for navigating Strathfield's streets and parking spaces. Selecting the right van rental can make all the difference in your Strathfield adventure.
Driving a van in Strathfield's suburban streets presents unique challenges compared to a regular car. Vans typically have a larger turning radius, requiring more space for manoeuvring, especially in tight corners or cul-de-sacs common in suburban areas. Height is another factor to consider; vans are taller, which may limit access to certain underground car parks or areas with low-hanging trees. Visibility can be different too, with larger blind spots necessitating extra caution when changing lanes or reversing. Parking a van often requires more skill and patience, as standard parking spaces in Strathfield might be snug for larger vehicles. Additionally, vans may be more susceptible to crosswinds, particularly on open roads leading out of Strathfield. Despite these differences, many find that the extra space and versatility of a hired van make it an excellent choice for exploring Strathfield and its surroundings.
When considering group travel around New South Wales, vans and SUVs each offer distinct advantages. Vans typically provide more interior space and seating capacity, making them ideal for larger groups or those with substantial luggage. They often feature flexible seating arrangements, allowing for customised configurations to suit your needs. SUVs, while generally smaller, offer better handling and manoeuvrability, which can be advantageous on winding roads or in urban areas like Strathfield. Fuel efficiency can vary, with some modern SUVs offering better economy than larger vans. However, vans often provide a more comfortable ride for passengers, with easier entry and exit. SUVs might offer better performance on varied terrain, but vans excel in providing a mobile 'base camp' for extended trips. Your choice between a van rental and an SUV should depend on your group size, travel style, and the specific areas of New South Wales you plan to explore.
When hiring a van in Strathfield, it's crucial to familiarise yourself with its safety features. Modern vans often come equipped with advanced systems like Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), which enhance vehicle control, especially important given a van's larger size. Airbags, including side and curtain airbags, are vital for passenger protection. Many vans now feature reversing cameras and parking sensors, essential for navigating Strathfield's suburban streets and car parks. Lane departure warnings and blind-spot monitoring can be particularly helpful when driving a larger vehicle. Familiarise yourself with the van's dimensions and adjust mirrors properly to minimise blind spots. Additionally, ensure you understand how to operate the van's headlights, hazard lights, and windscreen wipers before setting off. By thoroughly acquainting yourself with these safety features, you'll be better prepared for a secure journey around Strathfield and beyond.
Ensuring comfort on a long-distance van journey from Strathfield requires thoughtful planning. Start by adjusting the van's seating to optimise support for extended periods of driving. Pack plenty of cushions and blankets to enhance passenger comfort. Plan regular stops along your route to stretch and refresh – New South Wales offers numerous scenic rest areas perfect for breaks. Consider bringing a cooler with snacks and drinks to minimise stops and maintain energy levels. For entertainment, prepare a diverse playlist or audiobooks suitable for all passengers. If your van hire includes climate control, familiarise yourself with its operation to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the journey. Don't forget to pack a first-aid kit and any necessary medications. Lastly, ensure all luggage is securely stowed to prevent shifting during the drive, contributing to a smoother, more comfortable ride as you explore the diverse landscapes beyond Strathfield.
