A trip to Gladesville isn't complete without driving over the heritage-listed arched road bridge connecting Huntleys Point and Drummoyne. Fun fact: when it was built in 1964, this was the longest concrete arch-span bridge in the world.

I have changed trip several times as was unaware of length car was needed for and nothing was ever a bother Host is a pleasure to deal with absolutely love hiring through them as cars are lovely to drive and in good condition will hire through them again in a heart beat.

Extremely easy process, great car and great communication. Made our trip to Sydney really easy! Would use again!
Great communication. Clear and easy pick up. The car was really clean nice to drive and we enjoyed using for our trip. Definitely book with them again!

I hired Hamza's Hyundai i30 and had a great experience. The car was clean, tidy, and drove well. Hamza was friendly, easy to deal with, and made the whole process simple. The pick-up location was also close to home, which was very convenient. I'd happily hire from Hamza again and would recommend him to others.
I’ve rented many times off of Sixt and Enterprise etc so was quite skeptical of the competitive price off an independent rental car company. It turned out that not only was the Toyota Camry a good deal but also an extremely smooth process from start to finish, other than the slightly longer process of taking photos of the car upon pick up and drop off Alexander and team were far smoother, and communication was much more instant than with a larger commercial company. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and plan to do so in the future, thank you so much!

Amazing experience from start to finish! The Tesla was absolutely fantastic, clean, comfortable, and a pleasure to drive. It made our trip even more special and was the perfect car for exploring the area. Andy was an excellent host — very friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions. The communication was easy and he made the whole process very smooth. The pick-up location was also very convenient, with clear instructions and an easy handover. Everything was exactly as described. I highly recommend renting from Andy. Thank you for making our trip such a great experience! 😊
Easy pick up, communication through the trip was great! Car was clean and easy to get around where I needed.
The car was easy to find, pick up, and return. The car was clean and in good condition, and had no issues throughout the trip. We drove it up to the blue mountains, and then over to the Hunter Valley and it was a smooth trip the whole way. The host was lovely and incredibly friendly and responsive.

Had a small hiccup at the start that the car hadn't been returned by previous user but they were great in swapping cars and still got us in one as soon as possible and we're very helpful and good with communication.
The car was clean and very comfortable to drive and Abhijit was flexible and accommodating re pick up and return times, a friendly and nice guy. The car was very conveniently located for me - I would happily rent it again.

Car was in good condition with no issues. Nice and clean. Host was amazing providing pick up and drop off via Uber. Very responsive to messages and easy to deal with. Highly recommend booking with this host.
Absolutely Flawless Experience — Will Never Go Back to a Regular Rental Agency! From the moment I booked online to the second I returned the keys, everything was seamless. The booking process took less than five minutes, and I received a confirmation text within the hour to go over all the details — that personal touch made a huge difference right from the start. Highly, highly recommended! 🙌🚗
Great car! Anthony and his family is the best to deal with. Would rent from them again in the future.

Excellent host. Well maintained, clean and tidy car that drives really well. Thank you.
Great and beautiful car. Great host and excellent communication and convenience. Highly recommended!
It was an amazing experience, all the information was clear, and the car awesome. Thanks for everything
The car was an easy walk from Redfern Station. It worked well and was clean. Parking is a little difficult around there but on return I did find a spot right away.

About to hire a car in Gladesville? Here are a few top tips to keep in mind.
Before hitting the road in Sydney, familiarise yourself with Australian road rules and regulations. Remember that Australians drive on the left-hand side of the road, seatbelts must be worn at all times and pay attention to speed limits and other road signs to ensure a safe and enjoyable driving experience.
If you're driving in regional areas, be aware that animals and wildlife can wander onto the roads. Be sure to drive to the speed limit and do not swerve suddenly, as this can cause cars to roll off the road. Plus, full-license drivers in NSW have a legal BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) limit of under 0.05.
One of the busiest roads drivers will need to navigate in Gladesville is Victoria Road. This is one of the longest stretches of roads in Sydney, connecting Parramatta with Rozelle.
Plus, recent changes to the Rozelle interchange have increased congestion with travel time for CBD-bound traffic, with Victoria Road and Gladesville Bridge proving peak congestion spots. Our tip? Try to avoid driving along these peak roads on weekdays from 6 am to 10 am and between 4 pm to 7 pm.
While there are no toll roads directly in Gladesville, you'll likely drive along toll roads and tunnels if you plan to venture across greater Sydney (such as the WestConnex M4, Rozelle Interchange and Harbour Tunnel). Make sure your hire car is fitted with an e-tag prior to departure for a smooth driving experience along toll roads.
There are many on-street and off-street parking options across Gladesville. For secure off-street parking, head to the John Wilson Car Park (Pittwater Road), Peel Park Carpark (81 Morrison Road) and Riverglade Reserve Parking (38 Manning Road).
While there are limited spots to refuel in Gladesville itself, the surrounding suburbs feature plenty of petrol stations, including:
Shell (Hunters Hill)
Metro Petroleum (Rude)
BP (Putney)
Plus, there are several nearby electric vehicle charging stations, including the Evie Charging Station at North Ryde and Exploren Charging Station at North Ryde.
While Gladesville NSW does have a bus service, sticking to public transport can slow down your travel significantly and limit the number of places you can visit across Sydney.
Take this example: While driving from Gladesville to Bondi takes just 25 minutes, using public transport will take over an hour and require at least two forms of transport.
But with a hire car in Gladesville, you can explore the suburb and greater NSW at your own pace, with the flexibility to visit lesser-known spots and hidden gems across the state.

We encourage you to request to add any additional drivers before your trip starts, though guests in the US, Canada, and Australia can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them.
