Carma definitely restored my faith in Tullamarine car rental companies. Hannah was super friendly. Pick and drop off was a breeze. Car got 700kms on one tank. No complaints at all. Thanks team!

Absolutely! Here’s a review you could post: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Cruise Port Car Rental for Exploring Hilo We rented a car during our cruise stop in Hilo, and the entire experience was incredibly easy. The rental location was just a short walk from the cruise port, conveniently located across from the general store, making pickup and drop-off simple and stress-free. The car was clean, reliable, and perfect for exploring the island. We spent the day driving through the lush scenery of the Big Island and visiting the breathtaking Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. Having our own vehicle gave us the freedom to stop whenever we wanted for photos, scenic overlooks, and local attractions. If you’re arriving by cruise ship and want to make the most of your time in Hilo, I highly recommend renting a car here. It was one of the highlights of our trip and allowed us to experience so much more of the island than we could have otherwise. We would definitely rent from them again on our next visit! 🌋🚗 A fantastic way to see the Big Island in just one day!
I will break my car rental experience (November, 2025) into 3 parts: Turo, car provider and vehicle. Turo. First time to use this app. Overall, simple and intuitive to use. It is a good option when compared to the traditional car rental companies. It was really nice not having to wait at the service rental counter. Car provider. Once you finish with the Turo process, you finalize all the details with the car owner. Daniel was exceptional to work with. He was timely and thorough with his responses to all my inquiries. Our flight arrived earlier than scheduled. I contacted Daniel and he had the car immediately available for my use. He was honest and trustworthy. At the end of the trip, I identified what I thought was a new chip in the paint. He reported it was present before the rental and not an issue. There is comfort in knowing there was no hidden agenda. Vehicle, Toyota Corolla, 2015. Don't let the age or size of the car deter you. The car was clean, dependable and satisfied all of my needs for 2 people. Hawaii may be dramatic with its natural wonders, but it is stingy with the parking spaces and roads (think road to Hana and Haleakala Volcano). We were happy to be driving this car instead of the SUVs and Jeeps that populated the parking lots and narrow, twisting roads. Overall, I would recommend Turo and HIGHLY recommend Daniel and his Toyota Corolla for your car rental needs in Maui.

Everything about this trip and this car rental was amazing. It was very easy to pick up the car. The car was very clean and have a full tank of gas. I would absolutely rent a car with turtle again.
Great car rental service with wonderful customer service! Me and my wife got a nice camaro ss , we drove around the island with the top down and had an amazing time. The best customer service ever, got some tips to make our trip easier. Definitely will rent a car for next vacation with them.
David was communicative, pickup and drop off was easy with clear instructions, car drove well, overall very satisfied with our experience. Great cost friendly alternative to bigger car rental companies with a lot more flexibility, but come with the right expectations (i.e. don't expect a squeaky clean car)
This trip was amazing because of our car rental. It was super clean and drove really well. Great on gas. The host was also very attentive and nice :) 10/10 recommend.

The car was spotless, well maintained, and drove beautifully. Pick up was quick and easy. The car owner was friendly and also offered, and dropped us off to the airport as we had traveled from Melbourne. The car was exactly what I needed comfortable, fuel efficient, and reliable. Would absolutely rent from here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a hassle-free car rental experience.
Great service. Car was perfect. So much easier than dealing with rental cars
I enjoyed using this car for my solo trip to Brisbane and back. Easy to use. Has built in navigation and Bluetooth to connect my phone (for music). Host was easy to deal with. Responded promptly. Price also good.

Absolutely amazing experience renting this Mustang through Turo! The car was clean, well-maintained, and an absolute blast to drive. Everything about the rental process was smooth and easy from start to finish. The owner was incredibly friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience stress-free. You can tell they really care about both the vehicle and their guests. I would definitely rent from them again and highly recommend this Mustang to anyone looking for a fun and reliable ride!
Very happy with my car rental. Vehicle worked great for going around the island. the pickup and drop off process was super easy and smooth and the host very reliable. Would rent again.
Car quality was awesome. Comfortable and spacious and neatly tidy and well taken care of. Car rental was awesome and smooth and easy and comfortable. Thank you so much Zerin! Mahalo. Hope to rent from you again for more trips coming up.

The car did everything we needed it to do. We felt like a local, the car was certainly clean for the price. I would rent again because the price was right and it was great on gas. Like an ant sipping water. Pick up and drop off was easy enough. Took us a few min to find the car then it was very easy to drop off. Mahalo.
The host gave us clear instructions and communicated with us very well for a hassle-free car rental!
Every thing went smoothly fast easy pick up, car was immaculate, & great value , overall great car rental experience
Jeffery was a phenomenal host! Pickup and drop off were super easy and he communicated everything extremely effectively! Recommend to everyone needing to rent a car on Oahu!

Choose a vehicle that suits your plans, whether it's a compact car for city driving or an SUV for more space. Look for extras like GPS navigation or a backup camera for added convenience. Consider the season - air conditioning is essential in summer. Familiarise yourself with local parking regulations, especially in residential areas. Malvern offers several convenient pickup locations for car hire, many of which are easily accessible via public transport. The Malvern Railway Station area is a popular spot for car rentals, with several hosts on Turo offering vehicles nearby. This central location is well-connected by trains and buses, making it easy for guests to arrive and depart. Glenferrie Road, a bustling commercial strip, is another prime area for finding hired cars. It's serviced by trams, providing a seamless connection for those using public transport. Some hosts on Turo may offer delivery options to these locations, adding extra convenience for guests. Additionally, the nearby suburbs of Armadale and Toorak have pickup points that are accessible via short tram or bus rides, expanding the range of available vehicles for your car hire needs.
Malvern offers several picturesque driving routes for a delightful weekend getaway. The Dandenong Ranges, just a short drive east, boast winding roads through lush forests and charming villages. You'll enjoy breathtaking views and quaint cafes along the way. Another option is the Mornington Peninsula, where you can cruise along coastal roads, stopping at pristine beaches and wineries. For a longer journey, consider the Great Ocean Road, showcasing stunning ocean vistas and iconic landmarks. These routes are perfect for exploring in a comfortable SUV or luxury car, allowing you to fully appreciate Victoria's diverse landscapes. Remember to check your hired car's fuel level before embarking on these scenic drives.
Navigating Melbourne's peak hour traffic requires some planning. Consider timing your trips outside the busiest periods, typically 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM on weekdays. Utilise navigation apps to find alternative routes and avoid congestion. If possible, opt for a smaller car or compact SUV for easier manoeuvrability in city traffic. Familiarise yourself with hook turns, a unique Melbourne driving feature, especially in the CBD. Public transport is also an excellent option during peak hours, so you might consider parking your hired car and using trams or trains for city centre travel. Always allow extra time for your journey and stay patient - Melbourne's traffic can be unpredictable, but with these tips, you'll navigate it more smoothly.
In Malvern, parking regulations vary depending on the area. Many residential streets have time restrictions, so always check nearby signs. The main shopping precincts, like Glenferrie Road and High Street, often have metered parking. Look out for 'permit zones' where only residents can park during certain hours. Some areas offer free parking, but time limits may apply. Malvern Central Shopping Centre provides undercover parking, which is convenient for longer stays. When using your hired car, be mindful of clearways during peak hours - parking in these zones can result in hefty fines. It's advisable to familiarise yourself with local parking apps that can help you find available spots and pay for parking easily, ensuring a hassle-free experience while exploring Malvern.
For exploring Victoria's diverse landscapes, versatile vehicles are ideal. An SUV is a popular choice, offering comfort for city driving and capability for rural adventures. If you're planning coastal trips or navigating the Great Ocean Road, a convertible can enhance your experience with open-air driving. For urban exploration in Melbourne and Malvern, a compact car is perfect for easy parking and fuel efficiency. Luxury cars provide comfort for longer drives to wine regions like the Yarra Valley. If you're venturing into the High Country or Grampians, consider a 4WD vehicle for better handling on rugged terrain. Ultimately, your choice depends on your specific itinerary, but these car types will ensure you're well-equipped for Victoria's varied scenery.
Driving in Victoria's extreme heat requires preparation. Ensure your hired car's air conditioning is functioning properly before setting out. Carry plenty of water for hydration and check your car's coolant levels. Be aware that road surfaces can become extremely hot, potentially affecting tyre pressure and grip. Plan your trips to avoid the hottest parts of the day, typically between 11 AM and 3 PM. If possible, choose a vehicle with tinted windows for added sun protection. On long drives, take regular breaks in shaded areas to prevent fatigue. Be cautious of wildlife seeking water near roads, especially in rural areas. Lastly, never leave children or pets unattended in the car, even for a short time, as temperatures can rise dangerously quickly.
Finding reliable petrol stations around Malvern and its surroundings is relatively straightforward. Major fuel retailers have a strong presence in the area, with several stations located along main roads like Dandenong Road and Waverley Road. Many of these offer 24-hour service, which is convenient for late-night refuelling. It's advisable to use smartphone apps dedicated to finding nearby petrol stations, which often provide real-time pricing information. Some supermarkets in Malvern also have affiliated fuel stations, offering discounts when you shop. When venturing outside Malvern, plan your route to include fuel stops, especially on longer trips. Remember to return your hired car with a full tank if required by your agreement. Keeping an eye on fuel prices can help you save money during your stay.
Navigating Melbourne's busy streets requires attention and patience. Familiarise yourself with hook turns, a unique feature in Melbourne's CBD - these right turns from the left lane can be tricky for newcomers. Be cautious of trams; never overtake them when passengers are boarding or alighting. Watch for cyclists and pedestrians, especially in shared zones. Melbourne's grid layout can be helpful for orientation, but be prepared for sudden one-way streets or no-right-turn intersections. When driving your hired car, avoid peak hours if possible, and consider using 'park and ride' facilities on the outskirts before taking public transport into the city centre. Always check for clearways and adhere to parking restrictions to avoid fines. Lastly, stay alert for changing speed limits, which can vary frequently in urban areas.
Preparing for long-distance drives from Malvern to regional Victoria involves several key steps. First, ensure your hired car is suitable for the journey - an SUV or comfortable sedan is ideal for longer trips. Plan your route in advance, including rest stops and fuel stations. Pack essentials like water, snacks, and a first-aid kit. Check weather forecasts and road conditions before departing, especially if heading to mountainous or coastal areas. Take regular breaks to avoid fatigue - aim to stop every two hours or so. Be aware of wildlife, particularly at dawn and dusk. If you're not used to driving long distances, consider breaking your journey with an overnight stay. Lastly, download offline maps in case of poor mobile reception in remote areas. With proper preparation, exploring regional Victoria can be a rewarding experience.
