Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Cargo

Overall, I gave it 4 stars because it got us from point A to point B and back again safely. But if you are looking to rent something for the bells and whistles, this is not your van. It seriously needs some TLC.

We were notified in advance, right after booking, that one of the two TVs and a seat were damaged. However, once we got on the road, we found that nothing else really worked well. The Wi-Fi and music system in the back did not work, and the gas gauge doesn’t go past half a tank, so we could never tell how much gas was actually in the van after topping it off and driving it again. The sensors went off the entire time, regardless of how close we were to any object or car.

The output for the air in the back of the van was very low. The sliding door also required significant effort on three different occasions to close securely. Also, there was a speaker and tire in the trunk, which took up space and limited room for our luggage.

We had to clean the Sprinter because it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly before we got it, and it had a smoke smell. The host did accommodate us for this portion.

Pickup and drop-off were easy for the most part, with a slight hiccup on my end trying to find the entrance to return the van. The host was able to call me and walk me through it.

Amazing experience for me and my family. There was a few minor issues like the door, tv and seat but the host assured us about those things before hand. Smooth ride. Everything else was perfect. We will be using this sprinter again!

The concierge was very helpful. They were kind enough to tell us that the TV had been broken earlier by the previous client. Thankfully there are 2 TV’s in the vehicle. However, the vehicle had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our rental time. We ended up sweeping the back area just to tidy up for our guests riding in the back.
Also, there was still some dirty water from the previous client in the cooler. The vehicle had some electrical issues such as the sensors going off every time we stopped at a light, even if there was nothing in front of us. The sliding door didn’t close completely, which is a bit dangerous considering we had several people sitting in the back area. Lastly, we had connectivity issues when trying to play music.
