Unfortunately the guest had only 1-star reviews for smoking and damages to several other hosts vehicles. We did not feel comfortable renting our vehicle to then guest.

Communication and ease of pick up was great with host the problem was the black Nissan van. Felt like I had gotten catfished. The van had seen better days and in the post pictures you can’t really see all the damage to the top of hood and the back driver side quarter panel / bumper area. The bumper was held up by tape. Cherry on top was as I was driving on my trip ENGINE CHECK LIGHT comes on. Sent message to host he called me promptly to explain appears this has been an ongoing issue with his fleet that was not disclosed in the rental post either. Wish all of
these would of been disclosed in the original post instead of being surprised by it at pick up.
Hello, we apologize greatly that your experience was not satisfactory. We attempt to handle every issue promptly. We would have loved to disclose more about very minor scratches and bruises on the car however Turo removed our ability to have descriptions for vehicles. The check engine light was due to a small electrical short in the emissions sensor. It has since been resolved as we mentioned during your trip. We called immediately to give you peace of mind during your rental.

Air in the back didn’t work well due to liner falling down
Hello Joshua! Upon inspection we did not find any issues with the liner falling and interfering with the rear AC. Thank you for bringing up your concern. However the vehicle is fully operational!
No smoking allowed
