The pickup location was confusing. The quality of the van was not good at all. None of the charging ports worked. I had a 9 hour drive and had to stop at a rest station to charge our phones. When picking up the van it was obvious that it had suspension problems. Transmission shifted erratic and when I called the host and told him he said that van never had transmission issues. But someone complained about the same van on April 6 about the transmission. Same problem. On top of that the rear AC went out leaving our destination. I had a 9 hour drive with kids in the back with no AC. The host said they would work ‘something’ out with the mileage to compensate for the bad experience with the van. When I asked about the compensation he said Turo wouldn’t allow him to. From my perspective he rented an unsafe vehicle knowing the issues. It’s more about money than safety and satisfying. He said I would be getting a $100 refund from Turo. I’m still waiting.

Van got us from A to B, cold AC. However, it requires some maintenance that is recommended before putting it back on the road. It took a few seconds to get into drive; one of the rear turn signals was inoperable.
Shannon, the van was driven for 600 miles after your trip to check it and not 1 single issue was found with the transmission. It is completely different than regular cars as this is a big van but drives perfect. The turning signal did go during your trip and the light bulb has been replaced.

Van was in clean/good condition. Everything worked as should. Easy pick up and drop off process.

Host is very responsive, we had a minor issue and host immediately called and mitigated our concern. Our family/friend vacation to the NC mountains was an absolute blast. Party of 7 and a ton of bags fit comfortably. Will definitely rent from Adolfo again.
