You’ll find a wide choice of Vauxhall hire cars on Turo, from comfy Corsas to spacious Zafiras, in pick-up locations across the UK. Vauxhall hire cars offer some of the best value options out there, but driving a Vauxhall isn’t just about a great day rate — they’re also economical on fuel, highly reliable, and offer a safe and smooth drive. What’s not to love?
Gabriel was really easy to communicate with and made everything smooth from pick-up to return. The car is a 10: clean, comfortable, and very reliable. It drove perfectly. Overall a great experience. I’d happily book again.

The car quality was good and pick up was very smooth. Definitely recommend Ben as a host for his car.

The car was great, ran smoothly and great on the motorway! The host was also awesome, super friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be renting again next time
Ben was very flexible and responded quickly. Car was great and very clean.

Very easy process to pickup/drop off. Car was in good condition. Didn’t have any issues with the car.

Great little car, really clean and tidy. Ahmed was excellent to deal with. Will definitely be hiring this car again.

The car was great, but most importantly the whole experience of booking with Turo was superb, extraordinary easy and very enjoyable. Will never rent a car off established rental company again, with their hidden fees and other traps. The car was clean and the lady who passed over the car was really friendly, overall everything was very transparent, what you saw is what you got, and I mean that in a good way, no surprises.

Comfortable and surprisingly spacious car in great condition. Abbie was a super helpful host, would definitely use again!

Excellent service from John. Super clear communication, very professional pick-up and very flexible when we brought car back slightly earlier than anticipated. Car was in fantastic condition - clean throughout and a joy to drive. Would book again without hesitation!
Returned the car on time. Great host. Lovely car to drive very clean inside and out. Would definitely use again. Thank you
Top Tier host, Car was in great shape. Hansel was very helpul with the pickup and drop services and explaining details. Had a great trip with the car, felt super luxurious, highly recommend. Thanks a lot!
A favourite family hatchback with a solid appearance and typically with handy features like Bluetooth, the Astra is a reliable city run-around that can handle longer journeys, too. Economical to run, the Astra is an ideal model to get you from A to B efficiently. Look out for an all-new, all-electric Astra hitting the roads in a rainbow of colours.
The Corsa is a supermini found on roads all over the UK — perhaps because it was the UK’s best-selling new car in 2021. The Corsa’s popularity was inevitable: after all, it brings style, zip, and a sense of fun to a small car. A deceivingly spacious boot makes this a great option for a weekend break for two in the UK.
A Vauxhall Zafira is a solid MPV. With seven proper seats (even in the back row) and decent head and leg space, it’s the perfect vehicle for UK road trips with your family and all their luggage. A Zafira is also a top choice for moving oversized items around because the seats flatten to give you a huge amount of space.

The experience of Vauxhall runs deep. It’s the UK’s oldest surviving car brand, and manufacturing in the UK at Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port continues. Yet there’s no hint of complacency to mar their well-earned legacy, with exciting EV models and new technology in the pipeline.
Cars simply designed to get you safely and efficiently from A to B should never be sniffed at. Self-confessed petrolheads may love the performance and pizzazz of a supercar, but when you just need something to get you comfortably and reliably from place to place? That’s where Vauxhall cars truly excel.
If you hire a Vauxhall on Turo, you might think you already know what you’re in for. But many drivers are pleasantly surprised at how Vauxhall has kept fully up to date with great in-cabin tech, impressive safety features, and sleek styling inspired by luxury rivals.
Where reliability meets everyday drive
Vauxhall is one of the most popular car brands to own in the UK, and there’s a similar appetite for Vauxhall hire. The Vauxhall brand is a cornerstone of British motoring, with its cars known and loved for solid quality and a decent driving experience.
Vauxhall isn’t only about reliability and affordability. It’s a brand that has stayed with the times thanks to ever-improving engines, great in-cabin tech, and constant safety innovations. You can expect to see more electric versions available to hire on Turo as Vauxhall has a suite of new EVs in production, committing to a fully electric line-up by 2028.
To book a car on Turo, you must create a Turo account, be 18 years old or older in the US, 21 years old or older in the UK, 23 years old or older in Canada, have a valid driver’s license, and get approved to drive on Turo. When you’re booking your first trip, you’ll go through a quick approval process by entering your driver’s license and some other information. In most cases, you’ll get approved immediately, and you’ll be set for every future road trip, business trip, and family vacation!
No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to book a car on Turo.
In the US, any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your Turo protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland. When booking a car in the US, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier, Standard, or Minimum — to get the level of coverage that’s right for you. With each plan, you’re covered with third-party automobile liability insurance provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company — $750,000 for the Premier plan.*
When booking a car in Canada, you’ll choose between three protection plans — Premier, Standard, or Minimum — and with each plan, you’re covered with liability insurance purchased from Economical Insurance Company and Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) in British Columbia — up to $2,000,000 for all plans.**
When renting a car in the United Kingdom, you’ll also choose between the Premier, Standard, and Minimum protection plans. Each plan includes different limits of financial responsibility for physical damage. Protection plans are not insurance; they are an agreement between Turo and guests about financial responsibility if there is damage to the host’s vehicle during a trip.
Distinct from protection plans, all trips come with third-party auto liability insurance from ERS (Syndicate 218 at Lloyd’s) managed by IQUW Syndicate Management Limited, arranged via Turo’s broker Lockton Companies LLP. IQUW and Lockton are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
On your Account page, make sure you’ve checked the box to receive email notifications, and enable push notifications from the Turo app in your phone settings — we’ll send you occasional promotions, discounts, and deals!
Additionally, frequent travelers in the United States can get rewarded with the loyalty bonus — earn a promo code for one bonus day when you take trips totaling 10 days in a 90-day period!**
Yes, many Turo hosts offer discounted prices when you book trips lasting 3+, 7+, or 30+ days, so you can get the best deals and lowest rates possible by booking longer trips.
See more about promotions & discountsSome hosts offer unlimited distance for a trip; others set a daily distance limit. On the vehicle pages, you’ll see the total miles or kilometres you’re allowed to drive under the heading “Distance included.” You can find cars offering unlimited mileage with every trip by using the “Unlimited distance” filter.
Turo accepts most credit cards issued by major financial institutions, including American Express and Discover cards, as well as debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo that are linked to a checking account.
Apple Pay and Google Pay on mobile devices are also accepted, but Turo does not accept cash or checks as valid payment methods.
You can cancel and get a full refund up to 24 hours before your trip starts, unless you opt to receive a non-refundable trip discount when you book. If you book a trip with less than 24 hours’ notice, you have one hour after booking to cancel free of charge. If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged a cancellation fee.
In the rare event a host cancels, you’ll be notified immediately so you can book another car, or we’ll help you find one. Your refund can be temporarily held to expedite rebooking, or the funds can be returned to your bank account — your choice.
Under the enhanced cleaning policy, hosts are required to clean and disinfect their vehicles thoroughly before every trip, so you can feel safe and comfortable behind the wheel. Turo hosts have access to training materials on enhanced cleaning practices, using the latest recommendations compiled from the CDC, EPA, WHO, and vehicle detailing experts, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
No. Unlike rental car companies, Turo is a peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace where you can book directly from trusted local car owners in the US, Canada, and the UK. Turo does not own any vehicles — Turo hosts share their own personal cars and set their own prices, discounts, vehicle availability, and delivery options.
There is no fee or additional charge for adding a driver to your trip on Turo. Only the guest who booked the trip (primary driver) can request to add drivers; Turo hosts cannot do it for you. We encourage you to request to add authorized drivers before your trip starts, though guests in the US and Canada can request to add a driver while a trip is in progress with no extra charges.
To speed up the process, have your additional driver create a Turo account and get approved to drive before you request to add them. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements for the car you’ve booked. You can request to add drivers via the “Trips” tab in the Turo app without additional driver charges or extra costs.
Yes, there are Vauxhalls available on Turo at locations near airports across the US, Canada, and the UK. To save time and hassle, skip the rental car counter and have your Tesla delivered to you. Set your hotel or the address of your vacation rental as your pickup location, and after arriving at your destination, take a taxi, Uber, Lyft, or shuttle service to the vehicle’s location.
Browse a wide selection of Vauxhall vehicles for all kinds of occasions and budgets on Turo. Use the “Vehicle makes” filter to search through all available Teslas in your area, or use the “Vehicle models” filter to find a specific Tesla like the Model 3, Model Y, Model S, or Model X. For the lowest prices, use the “budget-friendly” filter to browse economy options.
Charge time for a Vauxhall depends on a few factors, most notably the model of Tesla, its battery capacity, and the type of charging used.
If you need to add lots of range quickly, head to a Tesla Supercharger station, Tesla-exclusive charging infrastructure that’s located in virtually all major markets and is unavailable to other battery-powered vehicles. Superchargers provide Level 3 charging (the fastest kind), which can add 200 miles of range in 15 minutes, and fill any Tesla to full capacity in under 40 minutes. If you plan your journey, mini road trip, or day trip properly, this is the way to go for a seamless experience charging your Tesla over an entire trip.
Typical charging needs can be fulfilled with the more common Level 2 charging, the type used by third-party networks (like ChargePoint and EVgo) for a price, and by any business featuring Tesla’s Destination Chargers. Level 2 charging can typically refill a Tesla overnight — figure it taking six to 12 hours. Choosing Level 2 costs less and prolongs battery life.
For the lightest needs, Teslas come with a standard cable that can plug into any common household outlet for Level 1 charging, which only adds about three miles per hour.
* Any personal insurance you may have that covers damage to the host’s vehicle would kick in before your protection plan, except in limited situations for trips booked in Maryland, but this protects your own wallet. Liability insurance is provided under a policy issued to Turo by Travelers Excess and Surplus Lines Company. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a host’s vehicle.
** Liability insurance is provided under a policy issued to Turo by a third party. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. The policy does not provide coverage for damage to a host’s vehicle.
