Over all not the best experience. When I arrived to the pick up there was a lot of damage all around the pick up that I wasn't made aware of in the booking process and probably wouldn't have rented it if I had known.
Once I got into the pick up I noticed there was a considerable stone chip on the windshield which quickly turned into a crack which spread right through your eye line as you were driving. The inside of the pickup had a lot of dust, dirt, sand & dog hair so I ended up spending $300 to get the pick up detailed which was less than ideal.
Then a couple of hundred miles into our journey my wife discovered a bag of illegal drugs in the pick up which infuriated me as we would have obviously been liable for that and we had already done a border crossing into Canada where our vehicle could have been searched.
The tires on the pick up left a lot to be desired also. They weren't completely bald but definitely weren't something you would want to be embarking on a road trip with especially when youre liable for someone elses vehicle. So this made me quiet paranoid when driving in heavy rain or high temperatures as I was afraid of getting a blow out or aqua planing. Unfortunately I only noticed this a few days into our trip, infact a stranger at a gas station actually pointed it out to me and again had I noticed this at the time of collecting the pick up I probably wouldn't have gone ahead with the rental but it's not something I thought I would have to check when paying for a rental service.
Overall it wasn't the best experience. It's my first time using Turo and I probably won't use it again. You're paying the same, if not more money than the major rental companies charge but with far less service.

Many other customers have rented the vehicle and the exact same condition and I’ve given us five stars. I believe this is a one off and not at all a reflection of our vehicle.
It is a very nice vehicle and many others have rated at five stars in the exact same condition that they have had so I believe that this customer was just unrealistic.
