Great truck as described and worked absolutely perfect for our trip. Would definitely recommend this truck and will rent again next time I am in town!

The vehicle was nice except we received it with the back window smashed out on the snugtop. This meant we couldn’t leave our bags or any personal items in the bed of the truck without it being exposed. There was also broken glass in the truck bed and two of my passengers cut themselves on it. The host did not respond when notifying them of the broken glass window that we found upon pickup. If we knew the glass was broken on the back, we wouldn’t have rented this vehicle. It’s really a shame that the communication was so poor and that the vehicle was damaged since the truck was great otherwise.
Unfortunately the glass was broken out of it. I did message people about this and I did miss sending you that. My apologies. Being in Alaska makes getting replacement glass for canopy shells problematic due to long lead times.

The car was never left for our family at the airport, but I was charged full price. No one communicated anything with me until hours after attempting to reach the host. I was left to scramble to find an alternative rental which cost me an additional $350 last minute at the airport. I am not sure where the disconnect occurred, but I have to dispute this now with Turo and AMEX.
Due to unforeseen circumstances I did not have access to my cell/internet. Unfortunately Turo changed the way they do bookings and no longer require host confirmation. This was booked 4 days in advance during off season for Alaska. I’m truly sorry this happened. Turo deals with all the money side and hosts do not see any money until days after the rental ends and hosts are not in control of giving a refunds. You will receive a full refund from Turo and your AmEx dispute will no longer be needed.
