The truck was 5/5. The thing I didn’t like about this trip is the initial comment the host made when I arrived. He pointed at a scratch at the truck and said “a put scratched my truck “
I ran back to the initial pickup location and dropped off the vehicle for a couple of hours since it only has 100 miles. I didn’t want to exceed the mileage and this was five hours into my trip. The host then contacted my if I was done.
I was 10 minutes late to the drop off and he messages me “eta”.
After the conclusion of my trip he sends me an invoice for a couple of extra miles. And that I am to pay. Yet his pictures are blurry that would show if I’m over the mileage. He went ahead and uploaded my own picture which was blurry of the mileage. It was only five miles which I am happy to pay but I don’t want to pay if I can’t clearly see what I am paying for.

I’m sorry you feel this way. When a vehicle is returned late, we are required to report the actual return time to Turo for insurance and liability purposes. This protects both the guest and the host in the event of an accident, ticket, or other issue. Regarding the mileage, the invoice was based on the odometer reading and the documentation submitted, which Turo reviewed and approved. We simply follow Turo’s policies and apply them consistently to every reservation.
