Truck ran fine and was in great clean condition. Pick up and return were easy and efficient.

I rented this truck primarily because it had a 2” hitch and a bed cover—features that companies like National don’t offer.
Unfortunately, the hitch had a locking pin installed, which made it unusable. I contacted the owner, provided a photo, and asked for the key. He told me the hitch had to remain locked for insurance purposes, which I later verified is not accurate. I understand if the intent was to prevent towing, but that wasn’t my use case. Because of this, I had to scramble to find alternative vehicles during two training clinics, which added unnecessary stress. This restriction should have been clearly disclosed in the listing.
There were also several mechanical and comfort issues:
• Noticeable vibration at highway speeds
• Blown left rear speaker
• Significant air leakage through the door seals
• Left turn signal flashing too fast
Overall, I would not rent this vehicle again unless you only need to haul something local and plan to avoid highway driving.

The hitch is locked to prevent towing per Turo policy. There was no request before or during the trip to use it—I’m always available if communicated.
The “insurance” statement is incorrect—towing is not permitted. The turn signal bulb has been replaced, and the speakers are functioning properly.
This truck is regularly maintained and used on highways without issue. I take pride in providing reliable vehicles and being responsive to guests.
