While the truck was in great condition and great mileage, the host was the reason for 2 stars. I’ve been using Turo for years and have never had a bad experience.
My arrival time was very clearly stated and I arrived to the airport to find out they never delivered the car and when I reached out they said it “wasn’t showing on the app” even though just an hour prior they checked it because they saw my flight was delayed so it felt like they were just hoping I wouldn’t notice it was late.
Took them an hour and a half to finally drop off the vehicle which meant I missed a very important appointment I flew all the way to California for… his recommendation was to “just Uber there” which was not feasible considering I paid for the Turo and Ubering would cost more.
They originally said they would drop the vehicle off in 30 mins and it took an hour and a half. I didn’t like that they were gaslighting me donating it was the app when it was very clear they knew exactly when I was arriving. They eventually said they were sorry and admitted that they didn’t bring it on time and all of a sudden it wasn’t the apps fault… I just wish they took ownership from the beginning to say they just didn’t get it there on time.
They did refund me for one day, hence the two star review. Just a fair warning and I hope they improve so others can have a good experience but it would be wrong for me to not share this experience with those that want an on time delivery of a vehicle to get you to where you need to go.

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately, the reservation information was not displaying correctly in the app on our end, which resulted in the delivery delay. Once we confirmed the correct information, we responded as quickly as possible and provided a one-day refund for the inconvenience. This was an isolated issue, and our many positive reviews reflect the experience we consistently provide.
Truck and host was great. Would definitely rent again!
