The truck was sturdy, dependable, and a great fit for getting around Tahoe. It’s not new or fancy, but it drove well despite the higher mileage and comfortably seated two people. The hosts were excellent—very communicative, readily available throughout the trip, and made both delivery and drop-off smooth. The truck arrived with a full tank of gas, which was appreciated.
A few things to keep in mind: this is a pickup truck with no back doors, and the back seats did not look especially comfortable, so I’d recommend it primarily for one or two people. There is also no built-in screen for maps, so you’ll need to rely on your phone or another device for navigation. Since luggage stays in the truck bed, we also had to be mindful of our belongings when stopping for dinner.
Overall, the positives outweighed the minor inconveniences. For Tahoe, this truck was absolutely perfect, and I would recommend it.
