Truck was great for what we needed, only downside was the interior smelled a bit like smoke. No problem after a couple days though!

Truck and Yumo were awesome.
Pick-up was easy, but took a hot second to find the truck as two parking lots were in the same vicinity.
Return could have gone smoother.
This is not a knock on Yumo at all. It seems to be an issue with all vehicles offering remote pick-up via a lockbox.
If the lockbox code is communicated in the pick-up instructions, and you fail to make a note of it, you can’t get back to the pick-up instructions to retrieve it once you’ve ended your trip in the app.
This wouldn’t be an issue if Turo would communicate lockbox codes to users in its trip-ending instructions.

The explanation and description of the truck location at the airport was ridiculous. It took 4 of us over 30 min to find it in the short term parking lot. After a long flight, that was extremely frustrating. Then when we finally found the truck, it was filthy. It obviously had not been cleaned at all. The bed of the truck actually had a loose dog bed in it with a bunch of loose bark and dirt. The reason we chose a truck was so that we could transport things in the bed, which kinda sucked since it was filthy. Not to mention that we kept stressing that the owner's dog bed was going to fly out while driving and we'd lose it.
Finally, the customer service throughout the week was completely unacceptable. Somehow, Turo tracked down my BOSS and COWORKER'S email addresses and started including them in the emails in which they were trying to follow up with us... via text, email, and phone call... and didn't get the response they thought they needed... even though we done what they asked of us. They claim it's because I used my work email address for confirmation even though my booking had absolutely nothing to do with my work. That was totally humiliating and in my opinion an absolutely TERRIBLE way to do things.
Needless to say, I will (very sadly) NEVER use Turo again. They are bullies and it's a terrible company. So much potential, but that potential is not being used appropriately.
