Despite the 5 star streak this host had, we were unfortunately given the Tacoma in a state that was disappointing. I am 7 months pregnant, so receiving a truck that reeked of weed upon arrival, with a quarter tank of gas, causing us to need to fill up at midnight in Portland, this rental did not start off on a good foot. It did run nicely and was not dirty on the inside, despite the smell. The truck ran well, and was sufficient to get us to the family wedding we rented it for. I would double check with the host before booking to double check the dropoff/pickup arrangement. For our trip, the owners arranged for key hand-off instead of the regular Turo contactless experience that I’ve come to know.
